General provisions

This personal data processing policy is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (EU General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as the GDPR) and other applicable European data protection legislation and determines the processing procedure personal data and measures to ensure the security of personal data taken by our Company (hereinafter referred to as the Site Administration).

The Site Administration sets as its most important goal and condition for the implementation of its activities the observance of the rights and freedoms of man and citizen when processing his personal data.

This Privacy Policy establishes the obligations of the Site Administration to non-disclose and ensure a regime for protecting the confidentiality of personal data that the User provides at the request of the Site Administration when leaving an application on the Site.

Consent to the processing of Personal data

Consent to the processing of personal data is issued by the Site Visitor for the entire period necessary for the Site Administration to achieve the purposes of processing.

Consent to the processing of personal data can be withdrawn by the Site Visitor by sending a notice requesting termination of processing of personal data in any form to the email address: info@eulegalpractice.lv.

In case of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data, the Site Administration stops their processing and destroys the User’s personal data within a period not exceeding 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt of such withdrawal.

Processing and storage methods

The storage of personal data is carried out by the Site Administration to fulfill the processing purposes specified in Section 1 of this Privacy Policy.

Users’ personal data is stored exclusively on electronic media and processed using automated systems, except in cases where non-automated processing of personal data is necessary in connection with the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation in force in Latvia.

Responsibility of the Parties

In the event of loss or disclosure of Confidential Information, the Site Administration is not responsible if this confidential information:

– Became public property before its loss or disclosure;

– Was received from a third party before it was received by the Site Administration;

– Was disclosed with the consent of the User;

Final provisions

This Policy may be changed and/or supplemented at any time at the discretion of the Site Administration. The changes come into force from the moment the Site Administration posts the Policy with changes and/or additions on the Site.
